alert program THERAPY GROUP

Ages 6 - 10

This group focuses on helping children develop body self-awareness and self-regulation skills. Many children struggle with recognizing when their body is over- or under-stimulated, which can impact focus, behavior, and interactions with others. Through movement-based activities, sensory experiences, and guided play, participants will learn to recognize their body’s signals and adjust their energy levels accordingly. The goal is to help children gain better control over their movements and emotions in everyday situations.

A group therapy setting provides children with the opportunity to generalize skills learned in individual therapy and practice skills in a social setting.
